PREPARING OUR FUTURE WORKFORCE
Skills Development Conference
May 7, 2024 - Ankeny
During the Skills Development Conference (SDC), students in grades 7-10 will participate in a full day of leadership development, skill-building, competitions, and a career education. This is the inaugural year for SDC and will be held in cooperation with Des Moines Area Community College. This year, 56 iJAG programs are attending with over 275 students involved.
This event features several categories of competitions that challenge students on various subject matters in addition to soft skills, presentation abilities, and professionalism.
