Meet David Anderson

David Anderson is a senior human resources recruiter with Wells Enterprises, makers of Blue Bunny Ice Cream! In his role, he’s responsible for building talent pipelines with schools and non-profit organizations that work with students and young adults so that Wells can continue to grow as it becomes more technologically advanced, requiring even more people in the skilled trades.

David also served as president of his iJAG class at West High School during the 2004-2005 school year, which was one of the first iJAG classes in Sioux City. During that time, he competed in the Career Development Conference, which was held at Camp Johnston, where he scored high in the areas of public speaking and employability skills.

Due to not having a cover letter for his resume, David did not win. However, the feedback he received from the judges was invaluable, as it was one of the first times he was ever complimented on his public speaking and interviewing skills. From there, his confidence soared!

“Almost 20 years after graduation, not only are public speaking and interviewing a regular part of what I do at Wells, but I also help others—especially students in iJAG—find their personality superpowers so that they can hit the ground running much faster than I was able to.
