We offer meaningful ways for individuals and groups to get involved and make a direct impact on the lives of our students.
iJAG is a Certified Mentor Program through Iowa Mentor and is recognized as a GOLD Certified Program Partner, demonstrating exceptional commitment to quality!
This gold-level certification will also be reflected on the National Mentor Connector database, further highlighting our program’s credibility and impact on a national scale.
Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you’re looking to give a few hours weekly or engage with students at a specific event, our one-time or short-term volunteer options are flexible and rewarding. Opportunities include:
- Speaking in the classroom
- Assisting with resume writing and/or mock interview days
- Judging at our Career & Skill Development Conferences
- Supporting event logistics or administrative tasks
These experiences are engaging and impactful—many of our volunteers return year after year!
Become a Mentor
Mentorship is a deeper, ongoing commitment where you build a consistent, supportive relationship with students throughout the school year. Mentors meet regularly with their assigned program or classes, offering guidance, encouragement, and providing a positive adult connection that supports academic and personal growth.
