From Iowa to the Nation: Aralyn Anaya Elected National JAG Officer
At iJAG, we believe strong connections create life-changing opportunities for students. This year, that impact is evident as Aralyn Anaya was elected to serve as a National JAG Officer, representing thousands of students across the country. Her achievement is a testament not only to her leadership and determination but also to the collective support of educators, specialists, employers, community partners, and advocates who invest in helping young people discover their potential. As Aralyn steps into this national leadership role, she will serve as a voice for students while demonstrating what is possible when schools, businesses, and communities work together to prepare the next generation of leaders.
When students are given the opportunity to lead, amazing things can happen.
This year, iJAG is proud to celebrate Aralyn Anaya’s election as a National JAG Officer, a role that will allow her to represent students from across the country while sharing the voice and perspective of Iowa’s young leaders.
Being elected to a national leadership position is a significant accomplishment. It reflects not only Aralyn’s hard work and dedication but also her willingness to step up, speak up, and serve others. Throughout her time in iJAG, she has demonstrated the kind of leadership that makes a difference, encouraging her peers, taking on challenges, and looking for ways to create positive change.
As a National Officer, Aralyn will work alongside student leaders from across the country, helping represent the JAG organization at national events and providing input on the future of the program. More importantly, she will serve as an example of what can happen when students are empowered to discover their strengths and pursue opportunities beyond what they thought possible.
For iJAG, Aralyn’s achievement is about more than a title. It is a reminder of why this work matters. Every day, specialists, educators, employers, community partners, and supporters invest their time and resources into helping students build confidence, develop leadership skills, and prepare for their futures. Aralyn’s election is one example of the incredible potential that emerges when those investments come together.
We are excited to watch Aralyn grow in this role and share her leadership with students across the nation. Congratulations, Aralyn, on this well-deserved honor. Iowa is proud to have you representing us.
